What to Expect

The presentation will include common scenarios, contractual provisions, the duty of good faith and fair dealing in the enforcement of those provisions, disclosure issues and best practices when advising franchisors and franchisees. This webinar will focus on franchisor’s conditions for approval of renewal or transfer in common scenarios, such as:

buyer qualifications;
renovations or upgrades;
entering into new agreements;
terms of existing agreement;

franchisee’s right to request renewal or transfer;
transfer and related fees, and
lease transfers and approvals.
